When the Titanic was being constructed, Belfast was also a mighty port, handling cargo from around the world. It’s said that it was visiting sailors who introduced vodka to the city. Perhaps. But soon we began distilling it ourselves, in our own way. We made it slowly, with Irish sugar beet instead of imported sugar cane or rye. We took only the best part of the spirit and cut it with pure local spring water. And we left it unfiltered to let it’s raw distinctive character shine through.
Try it neat, in a cocktail or with your favourite mixer. It gets on well with everything. A true measure of the city.
